Radiology Reporting Online rebrands as Everlight Radiology following sale by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

15 December 2017

London, 15 December 2017 UK teleradiology provider Radiology Reporting Online (RRO) will from today be known as Everlight Radiology.

RRO launched in 2011 as a joint venture between Everlight Radiology and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). In June 2017, UCLH sold its 50% interest in RRO to its JV partner Everlight Radiology, making Everlight one of the largest teleradiology companies in the world. Its team of over 300 radiologists report more than a million examinations a year for over 300 hospitals.

Everlight provides offsite radiology analysis and reporting in the UK, primarily to NHS hospitals but also to private hospitals and medical centres.  Its Australasian business is the largest teleradiology provider in Australia and New Zealand.

Many clients consider Everlight to be a lifeline for vital radiology services, especially those that are overnight and critically urgent.

Everlight has a global network of fifteen reporting centres in addition to a number of radiologists working from home offices equipped with industry leading diagnostic monitors and inhouse developed radiology systems.

Everlight has emerged as a leader in emergency afterhours reporting due to its global delivery model with radiologists positioned in every major time zone, which give hospitals access to a round-the-clock radiology reporting service.

For example, a hospital in London needing an urgent CT examined at 3am can access a British qualified radiologist in Sydney during Australian business hours, working in Everlight owned and controlled facilities, and have a completed report within 60 minutes.

Everlight is also highly regarded for its stringent quality assurance program, which sees its radiology reports consistently exceed international benchmarks for accuracy.

Everlight UK CEO, Daniel Sourial, said, “Now that we are one company worldwide, we decided to bring both companies together under one name and one brand that reflects our global, 24/7 radiology offering.  We believe the Everlight brand captures the essence of care, responsiveness and global reach that underpins the company.”

“Everlight’s model has added significant radiologist capacity back into the NHS at a time where capacity is severely constrained. We are able to connect experienced NHS radiologists who have left the UK with NHS hospitals.  Together with our nine UK reporting centres, we are well placed to support the NHS during a time where there is an unprecedented deficit in radiologist numbers.”

Due to continued growth, Everlight will be opening a new, state of the art London headquarters in April 2018.
