Our Heritage: unlocking faster diagnosis for twenty years 

In 2006, Everlight was founded on a simple but powerful premise: that location should never be a barrier to high-quality diagnostic care. We began as a small, dedicated team with a vision to support overworked hospital departments, and we quickly evolved into a pioneer of the teleradiology industry.

Over the past two decades, we have set the gold standard for "follow-the-sun" radiology reporting. By building a network that spans continents, we ensured that hospitals could access expert radiologist interpretations at any hour of the day or night, without sacrificing quality or clinical governance.

Key milestones in our history:

  • 2006

    Our business was born as Imaging Partners Online and the early days of teleradiology begin. Our founders in Australia set out the vision for global teleradiology, building the platform that brought the idea of "radiology unlocked" to life.

  • 2011

    Imaging Partners Online and UCLH invest equally to form a UK business, Radiology Reporting Online, with UCLH bringing the clinical excellence and leadership of a major foundation trust and Everlight its proprietary software, systems, processes and commercial expertise. This partnership created the largest network of teleradiology reporting centres across the UK.

  • 2015

    Our global educational platform, everlearning, is born. With webinars and content from leading Radiologists available to all radiology professionals completely free, the platform has since grown to over 18,000 subscribers based all over the world. Meanwhile, Imaging Partners Online becomes Everlight Radiology - and the business continues to grow.

  • 2017

    Everlight Radiology fully acquires Radiology Reporting Online from UCLH, creating the first truly global teleradiology provider.

  • 2019

    Named as one of the fastest growing companies in the Financial Times, Everlight is growing in both the UK and Australia.

  • 2020

    The business develops and releases Control Centre, our digital platform supporting customers with the entire radiology workflow. Since launch, we were the first to develop digital clinical feedback, support forecasting for outsourcing requirements, and offer real-time report status tracking for ED.

  • 2023

    Everlight opens a reporting centre in Dubai, providing our doctors based in the region with a hub to report from as our community in the area continues to grow.

  • 2025

    Everlight expands into South Africa, supporting customers in the region and opening an Operations Hub to better support our global radiologists. Our ability to help even more patients and healthcare facilities in need of expert radiology reporting continues to grow.

  • 2026

    We're about to launch a brand new hub and this year we celebrate our 20:20 vision campaign, looking ahead to the next 20 years of teleradiology. We currently support over 2.5 million patients a year to access faster diagnosis and faster treatment.
