With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, Caroline is passionate about creating environments where great people can do their best work. She believes that strong cultures, engaged teams, and meaningful work experiences are fundamental to delivering outstanding outcomes.

Wayne joined Everlight Radiology in 2008 as a consultant and has since worked in a variety of roles across the organisation.

He has over 35 years’ experience in the Radiology Industry spanning a career which encompasses qualifying as a Radiographer and Sonographer, undertaking an MBA and moving to Operational Management.

Dr. Shona Handisides obtained her medical degree from the University of Auckland and completed her Diagnostic Radiology training through the Auckland inter-hospital training scheme, earning fellowship with RANZCR in 2015.

She pursued subspecialty training in Paediatric Radiology at Starship Children’s Hospital and has worked as a consultant at Starship and Middlemore Hospitals. Her clinical interests include Paediatric Musculoskeletal and Trauma Imaging as well as Emergency Radiology.

Dr. Handisides joined Everlight in 2022, taking on roles with the onboarding team and as a supervisor for the MCNZ special purpose pathway in 2024.

As a member of the MLC, she is actively involved in onboarding, mentorship, and clinical governance activities.

Daniel has an AB in Physics from Princeton University and a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Maryland, both with High Honors. He completed his medical internship at the University of California, San Diego; his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston (a Harvard Hospital), and an imaging fellowship in Body MRI at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Before coming to New Zealand, Daniel was the Chief of Abdominal MRI and Associate Professor of Radiology at Yale University and specialised in body, non-invasive cardiovascular, and emergency radiology. Since arriving in New Zealand in 2015, Daniel has introduced multiple new imaging services to Gisborne Hospital (including Cardiac CTA/MRI, stroke perfusion, and prostate MRI). Daniel has considerable experience teaching, testing new imaging tools, designing experiments, and evaluating new imaging technologies.  

 Amitai Mandelbaum is the Director of Customer Success for the EMEA & APAC regions at Aidoc, leading a team responsible for the deployment and clinical adoption of Aidoc’s AI solutions across global healthcare systems.
He oversees onboarding, training, research, and clinical adoption for Aidoc's partners, helping clinicians use the solutions to their full potential, reduce diagnostic delays, ease pressure on health systems, and improve patient care.

He has spearheaded the Everlight-Aidoc partnership since its 2019 go-live, scaling it from a 5-user pilot in ANZ to a full-scale, multi-solution integration across Everlight’s radiology teams.
Amitai holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering from the Technion, Israel's MIT-equivalent. He uses this deep scientific background to bridge technical innovation and clinical workflow, ensuring Aidoc's tools reduce diagnostic delays, ease operational pressure, and improve patient outcomes.
