Walking the miles of exhibition space, two things became immediately clear: the pace of technical evolution is accelerating, and the value of human connection in our industry remains unmatched.
The beautiful chaos of innovation For our Global Product Director, Kristen Allin, the event was defined by the sheer scale of the industry. She described the experience as "absorbing the beautiful chaos of miles upon miles of product innovation, strategic manoeuvring and technical excellence."
While the environment was intense, the thematic focus was sharp. The "AI Showcase" made it clear that Agentic AI—artificial intelligence capable of autonomous action to achieve specific goals—was the overarching theme of the conference.
Alongside AI, there was a heavy emphasis on optimising workflow. For us at Everlight, it was validating to see that our current strategy is palpable in this arena and aligned with where the industry is heading.
Community at the core Beyond the technology, RSNA is ultimately about the people who drive healthcare forward.
"It was good to see so many of our wonderful Everlight crew and partners at RSNA," noted our Global CEO, Rob Anderson. "Thank you all, it’s what our community is all about."
It was a full team effort, with Chief Operating Officer Jeff Oakman and Chief Technology Officer Andy Donaldson also on the ground. They spent the week connecting with colleagues and suppliers, ensuring our operational and technical partnerships are stronger than ever.
A major highlight was hosting our radiologist networking event at Cindy's Rooftop. It was wonderful to step away from the exhibition floor to connect properly, enjoying great conversations and the stunning views.
We were also particularly grateful for the chance to connect with our customers, including Capital from South Africa, to cement those relationships.
The race to execution Leaving Chicago, the energy has shifted from exploration to action. We have validated our vision and strengthened our connections. As Kristen put it, "Now it’s the race to execution."
We are looking forward to turning these insights into outcomes as we drive the Everlight vision forward into 2025.
