Everlight Radiology, the international teleradiology provider, has received significant investment from Livingbridge, a leading mid-market private equity investor with offices in the UK, the US and Australia. Livingbridge take the place of ICG who invested in 2016, backing the same management team.
Livingbridge will support Everlight through its next growth phase, continuing the pursuit of the company’s existing and successful strategy, which is to be a vital lifeline of urgent radiology reporting capacity to public health systems in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Republic of Ireland. The transaction will allow Everlight to further invest in its operations, technology and radiologists. This will include expanding and leveraging its unique follow-the-sun business model, investing in its proprietary technology, enhancing service levels and building on its unmatched reporting capacity.
For the better part of a decade the existing clinical and executive leadership of Everlight have worked together, unified by a mission to enable better patient care. This will continue. Everlight will still be led by its Medical Leadership Council, a global Clinical Directorate chaired by Dr Charles Lott, and the existing Executive Management team, led by Group CEO Alexander van der Laan, Daniel Sourial as CEO UK&I, and Wayne Hartmann as Group COO.
Existing management and radiologists will retain a significant equity shareholding in Everlight, which will grow with the creation of a radiologist partnership program. There will be continuity of radiologists working with the company and certainty for clients that rely on Everlight as a vital source of urgent reporting and sub-speciality reporting capacity.
Alexander van der Laan, Group CEO of Everlight, said: “My clinical directorate and executive team are unified by a clear and compelling mission to provide patient access to urgent quality care. In the past decade teleradiology has become central to public healthcare, and Everlight has become a vital lifeline for urgent radiology reporting. Livingbridge recognise the importance of our mission, the uniqueness of Everlight’s role in public health provision, and the opportunity to provide even greater patient access globally in the future. We are delighted to be working and investing alongside them.”

Oliver Mauldridge at Livingbridge added: “This exciting investment is a continuation of our successful 25 year track record in the healthcare and technology sectors. We will draw on this experience to support Everlight’s growth plans, including building Everlight’s pool of exceptional radiologists, driving technological innovation, all while driving continuous improvement in clinical standards and outcomes.”
