We're pleased to report that Everlight Radiology have once again passed our Cyber Essentials Plus annual audit.
Cyber Essentials is a government led IT Security initiative that is backed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NSC). There are two versions of the standard – Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. Although they sound similar, there is a significant difference between the two versions.
Cyber Essentials is self-certified whereas Cyber Essentials Plus requires an in-depth technical audit to be carried out by an approved external assessment team. Everlight were the first Teleradiology provider to achieve Cyber Essentials Plus and we’re pleased to have achieved the standard for the fourth year running.
The standard is a mandatory requirement to provide service for Welsh Health Boards and is also now becoming more commonplace for Trusts outside of Wales. The framework verifies that our IT systems are safe, robust and compliant with the latest security standards.
