Teleradiology partnership reimagined

 

100,000 people suffer a stroke each year in the UK - one person every five minutes. Everlight’s acute stroke reporting service aims to improve access to mechanical thrombectomy for those patients who are eligible. 

This service offers customers in the UK and Ireland 24/7, 365 access to experienced emergency radiologists and Neuroradiologists to deliver reporting for acute stroke incidents.

 

Service coverage

Reports are delivered by Neuroradiologists from 5:00pm until midnight – Monday to Friday. Daytime and post-midnight cover - including weekends - is provided by a selected team of highly experienced Emergency Radiologists - all with significant experience reporting acute stroke studies and specifically CTA in the context of thrombectomy.  


Additional Quality Assurance


All reports prepared by Emergency Radiologists will be peer-reviewed by Neuroradiologists.  


Turnaround


Written reports are delivered within 30 minutes (i.e. from receipt of images and image count) to support clinical teams with their management decisions for these time critical patients.   


Comprehensive educational programmes


All stroke pannellists have access to educational programmes, including tutorials and sample cases – have been made available to all reporting Radiologists in order to support their continuous professional development.
