The Quality Standard for Imaging was defined by the Royal College of Radiologists and the College of Radiographers in 2019 as an optional benchmark with which to measure radiology services against set national quality criteria. The QSI provides a framework for the NHS and private sector to provide consistently high quality services delivered by competent staff working in safe environments.

In order to achieve the standard, Everlight was required to show how it met or exceeded multiple criteria in four separate domains: Leadership and Management, Clinical, Facilities, Resources and Workforce, and Safety.

Dr Dan Rose, Everlight’s Medical Director in the UK and Ireland commented: “Everlight is delighted to have received accreditation with the QSI, as a further sign of our team’s ongoing commitment to excellence in every aspect of our teleradiology service delivery. Quality of patient care is at the core of our culture and we put a huge amount of time, energy and investment into the continuous improvement of our processes, systems and people. Alongside our existing Outstanding rating by the CQC, this independent recognition of our high standards helps to highlight the end-to-end robustness of our unique Follow the Sun teleradiology model.”

"QSI accreditation is a further sign of our team’s ongoing commitment to excellence in every aspect of our teleradiology service delivery. Quality of patient care is at the core of our culture and we put a huge amount of time, energy and investment into the continuous improvement of our processes, systems and people."

Kate Cooper, Everlight’s Quality and Governance Manager in the UK and Ireland explained: “This is an exciting day not only the Governance Team but for all departments at Everlight. QSI requires a genuine commitment from all of us at Everlight, and the way we work day-to-day, to continually set, review, and make improvements to our Quality Management System. This shows our dedication to our patients and staff, and enables us to focus on consistently providing client satisfaction which is paramount to Everlight’s ongoing success.”
