This month we're delighted to highlight some of our exceptional Consultant Radiologists based in India. We have a growing community of radiologists based in the region who report across our UKI and ANZ workflows, delivering high quality patient care. Find out a little more about their stories and how working for Everlight works for them.
Dr Rekha Swamy
"I grew up in India, did my medical school training here and then moved on to the UK. I trained in radiology there, worked as a consultant, then thought I'd move back to India, back to my roots. I had a great childhood, I wanted to replicate the same for my children, I wanted them to know their grandparents."
Dr Rekha Swamy
Dr Rehka Swamy is one of our UKI reporters. She reports from the comfort of her home, but says reporting for Everlight actually feels like you're on the hospital floor most of the time due to the support, community and wide variety of pathology she has access to.
Dr Raju Nadimpalle
"When I report on emergency studies, there is often no in-house radiologist to provide the reports in a timely way, so that is where we come to be of great help."
Dr Raju Nadimpalle
Dr Raju Nadimpalle has worked with Everlight for around 10 years, first in the Sydney office on the weekends and then full time for Everlight once he moved back to India. He loves working on his farm and being close to nature, while still being able to enjoy his professional life, delivering care for Australian and New Zealand hospitals in rural areas.
Dr Akhilesh Rao
"They have a wonderful team and a set up which encourages you to choose what you want to report and how much you want to report, and you have a system of audits where you are given feedback as to your reporting quality. It's actually made me more confident with them, working with them as a radiologist."
Dr Akhilesh Rao
Dr Akhilesh Rao joined Everlight after 23 years as a doctor in the army, working then in the NHS in the UK and now from his home in Bangalore for Everlight.
Thank you to our Consultant Radiologists for sharing your stories with us. If you're interested in joining our growing team, you can find out more here or join us for our Taste of Teleradiology event in Bangalore event on the 16th October (details below).
