A ‘dirty CSF’ appearance to the suprasellar cistern and quadrigeminal CSF is evident. There is apparent effacement of cerebral sulci, and there may be mild cerebral oedema. The overall appearance is suggestive of meningitis. Opacification of the right sphenoid sinus is noted
