Welcoming new appointments to Everlight Radiology’s Medical Leadership Council

Written by Everlight News Desk | Jan 15, 2024

Our global team of Clinical Directors together form the Everlight Medical Leadership Council, promoting, supporting and mentoring our radiologists, while ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. Their roles involve sharing learning and providing direction at the highest levels of the business. Together the members of the MLC help shape the role Everlight plays in supporting radiology services across multiple geographies to deliver the best outcomes for our patients.

The aim of the MLC is to continuously develop a healthy active community of radiologists, both within Everlight and in the wider radiology community, through thought leadership, lectures and event appearances and our globally renowned everlearning programme.

New appointments to the MLC

“As we continue to grow, we must adapt and change,” says Dr Dan Rose, Chair of the Medical Leadership Council (MLC). “Similarly while the fundamental role of the MLC remains, we must ensure that we continue to further enhance the clinical voice in supporting and steering the business, and we’re moving towards individual Clinical Directors having a more strategic responsibility as part of their role.

"These changes are part of the wider approach we’re taking as we develop not only the MLC but also the development of non-reporting roles for radiologists at Everlight, all of which increases opportunity for Radiologists but strengthens the clinical leadership in the organisation.

"To that end I’m delighted to announce that, following advertisement and interview process, we’ve appointed new MLC members in both ANZ and UKI.”

Welcoming our new MLC members

We’re excited to welcome both Dr Meredith Thomas and Dr Sharon Ngu to the ANZ MLC in their new roles as Clinical Directors. Meredith will be specialising in Governance and Client Engagement, while Sharon will be supporting our Onboarding, MCNZ and Governance workstreams.

Dr Elizabeth Dillon (ANZ) and Dr Allan Andi (UKI) have taken on everlearning Clinical Director roles in addition to their existing duties, to continue build on Dr John Vedelago’s previous leadership in everlearning.

In the UK and Ireland, we welcome Dr Oliver Schulte and Dr Clare Ashwin onto the team as Clinical Directors.
